12 Lead AED
This course is designed for healthcare professionals who are responsible for responding to emergency situations where a patient may require defibrillation. Participants will learn how to effectively use a 12-Lead AED machine to diagnose and treat patients experiencing cardiac arrest.
The course will cover the following topics:
- Cardiac Arrest and Defibrillation: Participants will learn about the causes of cardiac arrest, the signs and symptoms of cardiac arrest, and the importance of early defibrillation. Participants will also learn how to prepare a patient for defibrillation, including appropriate electrode placement.
- 12-Lead ECG Interpretation: Participants will learn how to read and interpret a 12-lead ECG, including identifying abnormal rhythms and patterns. This will allow participants to identify the underlying cause of cardiac arrest and determine the appropriate treatment.
- Advanced Life Support: Participants will learn about advanced life support interventions and learn how to work effectively as a team during resuscitation efforts.
- Case Studies and Scenarios: Participants will engage in case studies and scenarios that simulate real-world emergency situations. This will allow participants to practice their skills and gain confidence in their ability to respond to cardiac arrest.
Upon completion of this course, participants will have a thorough understanding of how to use a 12-Lead AED machine to diagnose and treat patients experiencing cardiac arrest. Participants will be prepared to respond effectively to emergency situations and improve patient outcomes.
